RCIC Club 4th AGM Successfully Wraps Up in Calgary — Toronto Set to Host in 2026

From May 11 to 13, the Canadian Immigration Consultants Club (RCIC Club) convened its 4th Annual Conference and 20th Private Meeting in Calgary, Alberta. The event gathered 30 prominent immigration professionals who came together to explore the latest industry innovations, regulatory developments, and emerging opportunities shaping the future of Canadian immigration consulting.

The conference opened with a grand ceremony at the Sheraton Suites Calgary Eau Claire. Calgary Member of Parliament Greg McLean sent a congratulatory letter, extending his blessings and support and highlighting the evolving landscape of the immigration industry.Key highlights included the official launch of the Consultant Protection Unit (CPU), aimed at safeguarding both consultants and clients. Legal expert Ranjan Das shared critical insights on navigating compliance with the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC), while Deepinder S Wirk illustrated the powerful role of AI technology in fighting unauthorized immigration representatives. A special presentation by CAPIC founding president Gerd Damitz emphasized CAPIC’s ongoing commitment to professionalism within the RCIC community. Attendees also witnessed the industry’s first large-scale live demonstrations of four cutting-edge AI-driven immigration case management software solutions—a ground-breaking moment signaling a new era of technological advancement in the field.

Beyond the conference rooms, delegates participated in immersive site visits to Alberta’s leading immigration law firm, Zemp Law Group, and the acclaimed Red Deer Polytechnic College, deepening their understanding of provincial nominee programs and regional immigration initiatives. These excursions fostered meaningful dialogue with local leaders, uncovering fresh prospects for collaboration across Alberta’s dynamic immigration landscape.
