This year marks the 100th anniversary of Canada’s “Chinese Exclusion Act”. To reflect on history and look to the future, Canadian Immigration Consultants Club will lead everyone into a wonderful 2-day-1-night trip into the birthplace of the Canadian human rights movement and the capital of sunshine – Winnipeg, Manitoba.

The event will be held in June 10-11 in Winnipeg, the capital city of Manitoba. It will be a blending of business visits, networking dinners and seminars to let members explore the humanities, societies and natural landscape of Winnipeg, as well as learning about the economic and educational development of Manitoba. Experts from various disciplines will be invited to discuss the impacts of latest regulations and AI technology on the industry. Our activities will mainly include group visits to the Canadian Museum for Human Rights, education institutions such as the University of Winnipeg, start-up business incubators. The Club will also hold its 2^nd Annual General Meeting with the theme “Navigating Immigration Policy Changes: Strategies for Enhancing Professional Capabilities”. It will feature guest speakers such as Jon Reyes, Minister of Labour and Immigration of Manitoba, and other industry experts to shed lights on economic development of Manitoba and how AI technology will impact our industry.
