DESCRIPTION:Oxford University Study Program · Cambridge University Academic Visit · London School of Economics Institutional VisitAugust 8 – August 18\, 2026 | United Kingdom \n\n\n\nFollowing the Harvard University and Yale University learning programs\, the Canadian Immigration Consultants Club (RCIC CLUB) will officially launch its 25th RCIC CLUB UK Executive Learning Retreat in the summer of 2026. \n\n\n\nCentered around learning within the world’s leading academic institutions\, this program will focus on Oxford University coursework\, academic visits to the University of Cambridge\, and institutional observation at the London School of Economics\, creating a systematic learning experience that combines institutional understanding\, academic depth\, and international perspective. \n\n\n\nThe Oxford University study component offers two learning tracks\, and members may choose one based on their professional interests and long-term development goals: \n\n\n\n• Rules of the Game: How Law Works in Everyday Life• Marketing in the Digital Age: AI\, Communication and the Human Touch \n\n\n\nParticipants who successfully complete the Oxford University program will receive a certificate of completion issued upon conclusion of the coursework. \n\n\n\nWhy the United Kingdom? \n\n\n\nThe relationship between Canada and the United Kingdom extends far beyond an ordinary international connection. Canada’s common law system\, constitutional structure\, and philosophy of public governance have all been deeply shaped by British legal and institutional traditions. To better understand the UK is\, in many ways\, to better understand the foundations upon which Canada’s institutional framework was built. \n\n\n\nRCIC CLUB chose the UK not as an exercise in revisiting history\, but as an opportunity to help members re-examine the foundations\, evolution\, and operating logic of the Canadian immigration system within a broader legal and social context. \n\n\n\nWhy does this matter for Canadian immigration consultants? \n\n\n\nRCIC CLUB’s international learning programs have never been simply about “going abroad.” Their purpose is to help members: \n\n\n\n• Understand immigration policy logic from its institutional origins• Strengthen professional judgment beyond procedural knowledge• Re-examine the Canadian experience within an international academic context• Reinforce the professional identity of immigration consultants as professionals carrying public trust and responsibility \n\n\n\nAt the same time\, as global travel costs continue to evolve\, more Canadians are beginning to rethink the value of international learning and long-term educational travel.
